قصة الأخوين

قصة الأخوين هي قصة مصرية قديمة يعود تاريخها إلى عهد سيتي الثاني، الذي حكم من 1200 إلى 1194 قبل الميلاد خلال الأسرة التاسعة عشر من الدولة الحديثة.

تم الحفاظ على القصة على بردية أوربيني، الموجودة حاليًا في المتحف البريطاني.

هذه واحدة من الأساطير الرائعة التي تعرض الآلهة المصرية القديمة في شكل وخصائص البشر الطبيعيين ولكن مع قوة خارقة تساعدهم على الحفاظ على العدالة والنظام في العالم. يعتقد أنه خيال صراع بين آلهتين ثانويتين انتهى بسعادة بلم الشمل.

تتمحور القصة حول شقيقين: أنوبيس، المتزوج، وباتا الأصغر سنا. يعمل الإخوة معا، ويزرعون الأراضي ويربون الماشية. في يوم من الأيام، تحاول زوجة أنوبيس إغواء باتا. و عندما رفض بشدة محاولاتها، أخبرت الزوجة زوجها أن شقيقه حاول إغوائها وضربها عندما رفضت. ردا على ذلك. حاول أنبوا قتل باتا، الذي هرب وصلي إلى الإله رع حور أختي لإنقاذه. وخلق الإله بحيرة مليئه بالتماسيح بين الأخوين، حيث استطاع باتا أخيرا مناشدة أخيه ومشاركة جانبه من الأحداث. و للتأكيد على صدقه. قطع باتا أعضائه التناسلية و القاها في الماء، حيث أكلها سمك السلور ( القرموط)

ذكر باتا أنه ذاهب إلى وادي الصنوبر، حيث سيضع قلبه على قمة زهر شجرة الصنوبر، بحيث إذا تم قطعها سيتمكن أنوبيس من العثور عليها والسماح لباتا بالبقاء على قيد الحياة مرة أخرى. اخبر باتا أنوبيس أنه إذا تم إعطاؤه جرة بيرة مزبد، فعليه أن يتمكن من البحث عن أخيه. بعد سماع خطة أخيه. عاد أنوبيس إلى المنزل و قتل زوجته. وفي الوقت نفسه، أسس باتا حياة في وادي الصنوبر. و بني منزلا جديدا لنفسه. و أقدم باتا على التاسوع المقدس، أو الآلهة المصرية الرئيسية، الذين يشفقون عليه. خنوم، الإله الذي صور كثيرا في الأساطير المصرية على أنه صمم البشر على عجلة الخزافين، وخلق زوجة باتا. بسبب خلقها الإلهي. ظل يبحث الفرعون عن زوجة باتا.
عندما نجح الفرعون في إحضارها للعيش معه، أخبرته أن عليه ان يقطع الشجرة التي وضع باتا قلبه عليها. و قد فعل هذا حقًا و قد مات باتا. ثم تلقي أنوبيس جرة زبدية من البيرة و انطلق إلى وادي الصنوبر بحثاً عن قلب أخيه لأكثر من ثلاث سنوات، ووجده بالفعل في بداية السنة الرابعة. و اتبع تعليمات باتا و وضع القلب في وعاء من الماء البارد. كما هو متوقع،ثم تم إحياء باتا من جديد. ثم أخذ باتا شكل ثور و ذهب لرؤية زوجته والفرعون. سألت زوجة باتا الفرعون، التي تدرك وجود زوجها كثور، إذا كان بإمكانها أكل كبد الثور. ثم تم التضحية بالثور، و سقطت قطرتان من دم باتا، نمت منهما شجرتان البرساء. باتا، في هذه الأحيان على شكل شجرة، و خاطب زوجته مرة أخرى. وطلبت زوجه باتا من الفرعون ان يتم قطع أشجار البرساء واستخدامها لصنع الأثاث. عندما حدث ذلك، أنتهي الأمر بشقة أو شظية في فم الزوجة جعلتها حامل. ثم ولدت في النهاية ابنا، بعدما اصبح الفرعون وليا للعهد، في نهاية المطاف مات الملك، واصبح الابن ولي العهد (باتا المبعوث) ملكا، ويعين شقيقه الأكبر أنبو وليا للعهد. و انتهت القصة بسعادة مع الإخوة في سلام مع بعضهم البعض و استطاعوا السيطرة علي بلادهم.

 

The Tale of Two Brothers

is an ancient Egyptian story that dates from the reign of Seti II, who ruled from 1200 to 1194 BC during the 19th Dynasty of the New Kingdom. The story is preserved on the Papyrus D’Orbiney, which is currently held in the British Museum.

This is one of the marvelous myths that present the ancient Egyptian gods in the form and characteristics of ordinary human beings but with some supernatural power that helps them in maintaining justice and order in the world. It is believed that it is an imagination of a conflict between two minor gods that ended happily by the reunion.

The story centers around two brothers: Anubis, who is married, and the younger Bata. The brothers work together, farming land and raising cattle. One day., Anupis’s wife attempts to seduce Bata. When he strongly rejects her advances, the wife tells her husband that his brother attempted to seduce her and beat her when she refused. In response to this. Anpuis attempts to kill Bata, who flees and prays to Re-Harakhti to save him. The god creates a crocodile-infested lake between the two brothers, across which Bata is finally able to appeal to his brother and share his side of the events. To emphasize his sincerity. Bata severs his genitalia and throws them into the water, where a catfish eats them. Bata states that he is going to the Valley of the Pine, where he will place his heart on the top of the blossom of a pine tree, so that if it is cut down anubis will be able to find it and allow Bata to become alive again. Bata tells Anubis that if he is ever given a jar of beer that froths, he should know to seek out his brother. After hearing of his brother’s plan. Anupis returns home and kills his wife. Meanwhile, Bata is establishing a life in the Valley of the pine. building a new home for himself. Bata comes upon the Ennead, or the principal Egyptian deities, who take pity on him. Khnum, the god frequently depicted in Egyptian mythology as having fashioned humans on a potters wheel, creates a wife for Bata. Because of her divine creation. Bata’s wife is sought after by the pharaoh. When the pharoh succeeds in bringing her to live with him, she tells him to cut down the tree in which Bata has put his heart. They do so, and Bata dies. Anubis then receives a frothy jar of beer and sets off to the Valley of the pine. He searches for his brother’s heart for more than three years, finding it at the beginning of the fourth year. He follows Bata’s instructions and puts the heart in a bowl of cold water. As predicted, Bata is resurrected. Bata then takes the form of a bull and goes to see his wife and the pharaoh. His wife, aware of his presence as a bull, asks the pharaoh if she may eat its liver. The bull is then sacrificed, and two drops of Bata’s blood fall, from which grow two Persea trees. Bata, now in the form of a tree, again addresses his wife. and she appeals to the pharaoh to cut down the Persea trees and use them to make furniture. As this is happening, a splinter ends up in the wife’s mouth impregnating her. She eventually gives birth to a son, whom the pharaoh ultimately makes crown prince. When the pharaoh dies, the crown prince (a resurrected Bata) becomes king, and he appoints his elder brother Anpu as crown prince. The story ends happily. with the brothers at peace with one another and
